How long is a Therapy Session?

The conventional therapy process consists of a weekly 50-minute therapy session. Based on your situation, you may visit my office more or less often than once per week for a 50-minute session.  In special cases, particularly with couples, sessions can be 80 minutes.  Sessions are held at my office on the west side of Burbank (See Home for directions), or on-line.

I've never been in Therapy before. How does it work?

A therapy session is a conversation with the goal of helping you to move in your desired direction. I  will not PUSH you, but I will encourage you as you move in the direction of your goals. Our conversations are a mix of self-discovery and psycho-education. My belief is that when you understand yourself and what you want, with the right tools you will take steps to move forward. Our conversations may at times be challenging but are ultimately rewarding.
